The Now

The Now

Every step

I’m here.

I’m here now.

I’m here again.

I’m always here.

We choose

To be here

Every moment

Every step

Because we’re here

But if we’re looking

In the mirror

Focusing on the past

We’re not here

Just a tiny little piece

Off us is present

Looking ahead

Focusing on the future

We’re not

All here

There’s just a

micro part of us

That’s present

Learning to be here

On this trail

On rocks

Trees, roots, dirt

Embracing this beauty

That lives within

The right now

Not regretting

Choices of the past

Not wishing for

Something in

The future

Just being joyous

And thankful

Glowing in the present
