Exhilarating

Her eyelids

Gently open

Her dark eyes

Focus

On me

Taken aback

In a split second

I know

She can handle

The full me

I gaze back

Not looking away

Taking in

The deep reservoir

Represented

As I see my

Reflection

In her

We connect

On a level

A dangerous

Exhilarating level

Wanting to know

This creature

To explore

And frolic

Childlike

As we laugh

Tickle

And play
