The road

Eaten up

Roaring it’s

delight

As I ride

Hard and wild

Unadulterated pleasure

Shown by

An inviting

Tongue

Laying out

Further

With every

Petal’s push

Desiring me

To bear down

Welcoming

Into every

Corner

And switchback

All thoughts

Of what

Might happen

Left many

Miles behind

Focusing on the

Road right

In front of me

Feeling her

Shifting

Embracing

The hot rubber

Gliding around

The twisting

Switch-back

Corners

My entire

Body electric

With the

Twin turbo

Firing underneath

Her snow-white hood

BMW logo

Firing

BE MY WIZARD

Into my

Erect senses

Eyes

Lit with

White-hot flames

Anticipating

The continuing

Joy to come

Cognizance

Active

Awakened

Fully engaged

I rented the BMW to honor my Aunt who passed. She loved convertibles. I took friends for a ride up into the mountains! What an amazing day!!

Of course Mitchell wanted to drive! Umm, not!!
