She laughed

The twinkling

Glowing essence

Helping me

To clearly see

I would wait

As long

As it took

Knowing she

Is the 

Pot of gold

At the end

Of my rainbow

The struggle real

Causing sleeplessness

Lonely tears

Moments of wondering

Not always 

A pretty sight

But always

With an eye

Towards the future

A future

Together

Early on

I stated

I’m a

Patient man

My patience

Will soon

Be rewarded

As I bask

In her

Eternal shine

Every morning

As she 

Radiantly

Awakens me

With her

Absolute sunshine
