Eclipsing Rick

August 21, 2107. A day most of us will never forget! The total eclipse, the first in 40 years, hit us in Colorado right around lunch time. I remember going out unsure of what it would be like. This is a picture I captured with my phone. Unknowingly I lifted it up to see what it would pick up. I stepped into these few moments not having any idea what was to come in the weeks ahead…

I found this quote from sharingourjourney.com, “A total solar eclipse is one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events. … An eclipse has historically acted as a symbolic portal for exponential growth, a time of rapid change, internally and externally. The moon is associated with our subconscious desires and our emotional lives.” I personally experienced this. Through excruciating pain. Through chaos. Through loosing everything I loved. I found new life. I discovered the real me underneath all the confusion and loss. I choose to embrace the new me every morning when I wake up! Will you join me?
