Rise

Rise

I rise up

Every day

Cool air launching me

Rising out of a warm bed

I rise from my circumstances

I rise from the melancholy I feel

I rise up and move forward

I rise to bring encouragement

I rise to bring hope to others

I rise hoping this simple and profound act

Will ignite my soul alive

I rise so others will rise

I rise up
