I never know exactly what will come out on the trail. This day I hiked with Jon Huerta, an “adopted” son of mine. I met Jon almost 10 years ago, when I was doing some teaching with young adults. He stood out from the entire group. His curiosity, and desire to show up, has helped us to develop one of the deepest relationships I have in my life.
I am honored to know Jon. Honored to have walked with him through his intense, and deep healing. Jon is a man of courage. A man of wisdom. A deep thinker who has this incredible Jester that comes out when you really get to know him! We talked a lot about “language”. Defining relationships through words, guided by our actions and love for another.
Jon has helped me in so many ways through the years. Our connection offering me a place to heal myself, while watching the incredible changes take place in his life. I love this young man dearly. And you will as well after watching this!
